Participants in the Leadership Columbia Graduate Series will get an opportunity to find out what it’s like to sit on a city or town council on Feb. 28.

Advanced Political Systems is the second session of the new graduate series that was launched earlier this year. Faculty from the South Carolina Municipal Association will lead a role-playing workshop during which class members will become a city council, address a key issue and gain perspective on the inner workings of municipal governments.

Any graduate of a chamber-based leadership program is eligible to register for the program. Registration is $225 for the series or $85 per individual session. Leadership Columbia graduates receive a $50 discount for the series....
