The second annual TDL Summit, seeking to bring together public and private sector leaders in the transportation, distribution and logistics industry, will be held March 13 in Columbia.

Representatives of the various sectors will gather to learn about various trends in the industry and how South Carolina fits into the national logistics, transportation and distribution picture. Leaders also will discuss where the industry’s future in South Carolina.

Featured speakers include:

§  Bruce Lambert, of the Institute for Trade and Transportation Studies, Mandeville, La.

§  Scott Mason, of Clemson University

§  Bobby Hitt, secretary of the S.C. Commerce Department

§  Robert St. Onge, secretary of the state Department of Transportation

§  Jim Newsome, CEO of the S.C. Ports Authority

§  Dan Mann, president of Columbia Metropolitan Airport

§  Otis Rawl, president and CEO of the S.C. Chamber of Commerce

§  Heather Simmons, of the S.C. Economic Developers Association

The summit will be held at Hilton Columbia Center, 924 Senate St., from 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. To register online, click here.
